Business Referrals ~ The Visitors Center located directly across from the post office is staffed with town employees hired and supervised by the Chamber. Visitors and general information seekers who inquire about local products and services are referred to Chamber members. Names and addresses of people seeking information about local business are provided to Chamber members on request.

Networking Opportunities ~ Making new contacts and reinforcing existing customers is the lifeline of your business. The Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce puts its members face-to-face with the people who will help their business grow. Monthly membership meetings, project committees and social events give exposure to you and your business.

Internet Marketing ~ The Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce's professionally designed worldwide web site includes a listing of all Chamber members, and is actively marketed to bring traffic to the site. A link is available to your own web site from the Chamber site at no cost if you are a member. The Chamber also responds to many information requests received via the website. These requests are also forwarded on to Chamber members who may choose to follow up the general Chamber reply with their own material.

Chamber Spotlight ~ The Chamber Spotlight is a periodic mailing to all Chamber members which will showcase up to four Chamber businesses. It's a great way to let area businesses know about your products and services. If you are a member and would like to spotlight your business, please email us or call the Visitor's Center (869-3409).

Visitors Center ~ Chamber members are encouraged to place their brochures or other informational material in the Visitors Center for locals and visitors alike.

Event Planning ~ As a Chamber member you can participate in planning and implementing special events such as the "Bethlehem Christmas" weekend, The Scarecrow Festival, Frostbite Follies, the "Open for the Season" festival, and other events. Your business can tie into these special events for extra profit, and you can gain exposure for your business by participating.

The Chamber offers two types of membership -- Associate Members and Full Members.

Associate: Associate membership is an individual membership, not a business or organization. Benefits include:

• invitation to attend monthly chamber meetings
• receiving monthly updates and Chamber Spotlights
• invitation to attend special gatherings such as Business After Hours

Associate members do not have voting rights and a link on the Chamber Web site.

Full Member: Full membership is designed for a business or organization and offers a broader range of benefits. Among these are:

• a listing on the Chamber Web site with a link to your own Web site
• invitation to attend monthly Chamber meetings
• receiving monthly updates and Chamber Spotlights
• invitation to attend special gatherings such as Business After Hours
• voting rights at Chamber meetings
• access to membership mailing lists
• access to Visitors Center mailing lists

For purposes of membership fees only, Full Memberships are further divided into Small Business/Organization (1-14 full time employees) or Large Business/Organization (15 or more full time employees).
